El Salvador (Natural Gesha)

Fresh citrus leads the cup, followed by a sweet grape note and fruit-like sweetness. This Gesha comes from Jose Omar Lemus, who owns the small, 2-hectare farm in Chalatenango, where 4,600 trees are carefully managed. Jose treats each variety as a unique project from harvest through processing, focusing entirely on quality rather than increasing production. The coffee is naturally processed and dried on raised African beds, a method Jose uses to enhance clarity and sweetness. With guidance from green buying assistant Beto Reyes, Jose continues revitalizing his farm by replacing aging trees and refining quality—producing an expressive Gesha that reflects the best of El Salvador.
